Yemen’s Houthi rebels push aid groups to the brink of collapse


Last October, the group’s leader, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, said in a speech that his group had arrested what he called “well-trained espionage groups operating under humanitarian cover” from organizations such as the World Food Program and Unicef. The United Nations dismissed the accusations.
