Rachel Zoe Says Trust ‘Broken’ in Rodger Berman’s Marriage on RHOBH

“He was in Aspen and I wouldn’t go to Aspen because I had to do some event here. It was like a whole thing,” she recalled. “Whatever happened, happened, and then I just cracked up. I just remember being literally lying on the ground, and I remember crying more than I ever had.”

Dorit, 49, was quick to demand clarification on what happened.

“We had a fight and I was like, ‘I’m done. I’m done. I’m done,'” Rachel continued. Kyle, 57, asked Rachel how she found “anything” Roger did to make her so “upset”.

“Well, he told me that,” Rachel replied, before further explaining the situation in a confessional.

Rachel said she was at a party and “had just come home for the night” when Roger called her.

“I got a call. Honestly, I just saw red and hung up,” she said. Rachel also explained to the audience That past two years It was the “worst” she and Roger ever “fighted and reconciled” over and over again.

“Some things happen for reasons that force you, and in this case, the weekend of August 2 (and) 3, 2024, just really easy to go,” she said in a confessional.

“People have always asked me over the years what is the secret to our success,” she added. “The first answer is always trust. Like, when trust is broken, it’s like broken. There’s no going back.”

Rachel tells Dorit and Kyle that she “never” looked at Roger’s phone. He apparently never apologized or cried. Rachel speculates that Roger told her he did something to “hurt” her.

“My reaction was, I can’t come back. I can’t not hear, I can’t not see, I can’t not know,” she said. “He was a secure person until the last six (or) seven years, and then his security declined.”

Early on in their relationship, Rachel said Roger was “very secure” and “never” held her back.

Rachel said she “never cheated” on Roger and only “fooled around” with a model once before they got engaged. After Rachel told Roger what happened, Roger apparently offered “the next day,” but “didn’t give ***” because he was “very safe.”

Rachel and Roger were married for 24 years before announcing their separation in September 2024. Rachel filed for divorce in July 2025. according to daily mailtheir date of separation was listed as June 27, 2024. They share sons Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 12.

“People today bear no resemblance to people in the past. People are allowed to change,” Rachel continued. “He made it very clear that he was very happy with the person he had become.”

She added, “No matter what happens, I have to say thank you for this…otherwise I’ll spend another six years faithfully waiting for someone I once knew to come back.”
