Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. and Caroline Bassett Star Paul Anthony Kelly He and his wife recently welcomed their first child, Sid Wazewski-Kelly.
Kelly, 37, confirmed the news during an appearance The Kelly Clarkson Show Monday, February 23rd.
“You just became a father!” the host Kelly Clarkson The actor replied: “Yes, I did. Thank you very much.”
Clarkson, 43, asked Kelly if adjusting to fatherhood had made him more “tired,” and he admitted, “Yeah, a little. That’s an understatement for sure.”
Many celebrities started their own families in 2026 or announced their new additions for the first time. Kelly previously revealed that Widziszewski-Kelly, whom he married in May 2023, is due Caroline Bassett-Kennedybirthday.
“When we’re done filming, my wife and I need to go home and start nesting,” he told interview November 2025. “The baby was born in January. The baby was originally expected to be born on January 7, which is Caroline Bessette-Kennedy’s birthday.”

“February was coming up and I was feeling good about it, but the casting said they were reading other gentlemen’s work. I was like, ‘Well, never mind. Whatever,'” he told the magazine. “A few months passed, toward the end of April, and I got an email from my agent. The casting people wanted to see me again for another tape. Twenty minutes later, I got another email and they were like, ‘We’ll call the producers directly back.’ We were in Portland. That’s our home base now, my wife and I. So I did a Zoom, and right before we were going to go to our second-anniversary dinner, she told me we were pregnant. May 1 was a big day.”
The creators of FX’s Love Story don’t regret not consulting the Kennedy family before making the romance of John F.
