Monday, February 23, on the hit Bravo series Betul Had a tough time on deck When trying to understand everyone’s different accents. she sat down Captain Jason Chambers to explain why she was struggling.
“In my family, people around me always thought I wasn’t smart enough to understand,” she explains. “That voice is always there, and I don’t want to be drowned in those voices.”
Bettour elaborated in a confessional, “Growing up, the family dynamic was not stable. I never felt like I had a father. He was married to three women at the same time and was narcissistic.”
She continued, “My mom left when I was 9. There was a cycle of physical violence, so now I don’t talk to my parents. But I taught myself everything.”
Below Deck Down Under Season 4, which premiered earlier this month, sees Jason return to the helm of the Katina in the Caribbean Ben Robinson, Daisy Kelliher and joao franco. Alessia HarrisMeanwhile, returns as sous chef with new crew Joe Cullen and Jenna Waldbergdeck/stew Mike Durant and deck hand Eddie Howser and correct.
Jason recently told US Weekly that season 4 A “challenge” for everyone on board.
“Everyone has their own little thing. Daisy is joining a new franchise and she has a point to prove. She had a bad season on the sailing yacht and she didn’t work hard with some of the crew. Joao will be back as captain and he will have to swallow his ego and pride to get back on deck and help me,” he explained. “Then there’s Ben, he hasn’t been in this situation for a while. He’s been running his own business.”
Jason continued: “After a failed relationship, he picked up a knife, packed his bags, and agreed to come here in 12 hours and completely change his life. We were both in a bind. It was very intense. Now I look back on it and I think, ‘Wow, we were both facing personal challenges.'”
Although Bravo viewers used to playing with problems on screen this season below deck is different.
“The battles that we’ve seen in previous seasons are different than this one. That’s what viewers are going to love now and I’m really starting to see how it’s going to unfold. I’m just seeing it with all of you. But the truth is, what’s going on are real personality and work-related issues that need to be addressed,” Jason shared. “It’s a really raw thing to be working in such a closed environment. It’s not just pointless arguments about silly topics. It’s just a crew issue, not just a department head issue. Is there more to it? But it’s actually a challenging drama that’s important or poignant to actually operating a ship.”
