Bill remains frustrated with Colin’s “disobedience.” He becomes even more confused when he realizes Colin’s secret agenda, saying, “If you won’t listen to me, then why do you need me… You just need me and my shield to operate on American soil. Am I just a tool of yours?”

Meanwhile, Colin Stick to his approach.

“I need you to work domestically. This is my operation, not your case. If you have a problem with that, there’s a door. But I read your file and I actually think I understand your thinking better than you do yourself,” he explained. “I can tell deep down that you really want to do what I do. You’ve been living your life in black and white, and you know it’s bullshit. You know that’s where the real problems are solved – in the gray areas.”

He continued: “It’s either join or you’re not, but make up your mind now because I have a job to do. The FBI closes cases and we keep the world safe.”

They are the poster child for American law enforcement. Whereas the CIA is completely in the shadows and doesn’t want to be on any posters. It doesn’t want people to see who they are, and they operate in a very voyeuristic way.”
