Winter storm covers parts of Northeastern U.S.

Video showed that a severe winter storm hit many states in the United States, including Connecticut and New Jersey, and parts of the United States were covered in heavy snow.

New York City has implemented a comprehensive travel ban from 21:00 local time on Sunday (02:00 GMT) to 12:00 local time on Monday (17:00 GMT).

Mayor Zohran Mamdani said schools would be closed and all streets, highways and bridges would be closed except in emergencies.

It’s expected to be the most powerful nor’easter in nearly a decade across much of the region, bringing snow, high winds and coastal flooding.
