US President Donald Trump speaks at a press conference after the US Supreme Court decided to lift his sweeping global tariffs.
The court ruled that Trump exceeded his powers under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, noting that the law “does not authorize the President to impose tariffs.” Trump hit back and announced a new 10% tax on global imports under a separate regulation.
