The GoFundMe details Dane’s advocacy efforts after she was diagnosed with ALS. Dane first publicly revealed that he had been diagnosed with the disease in April 2025.
“After his diagnosis, Eric became a passionate voice for the ALS community, using his voice and platform to advocate for other patients and raise awareness. Even as his own health deteriorated, he remained deeply committed to helping others facing the same devastating disease. As his disease progressed faster than anyone could have imagined, Eric’s friends came together to create this GoFundMe to support his daughters and their future needs,” the description continues.
It concluded: “Any donation, regardless of amount, will help provide stability during this extremely difficult time and for the future of Eric’s wonderful daughters.”
