What is the Joseph C. Belden Award?

Named after Joseph C. Belden – a pioneer in connectivity – the award honors emerging companies and breakthrough solutions that are driving significant change in the connected industry. From digital infrastructure and cybersecurity to industry and smart services, the program recognizes technology that delivers measurable, real-world results.

What are we looking for?

The most important thing in 2026 is the convergence of IT / OTto highlight solutions that connect information technology and operational systems. As businesses transform operations and connect physical and digital environments, the technologies that connect these areas become critical to operational efficiency, resilience, and growth.

What do the finalists receive?

The finalists will receive more than recognition. Selected manufacturers gain industry exposure, large audiences, and marketing opportunities designed to promote their solutions and accelerate their adoption. Winners will be announced live on Belden Innovation Summit, June 9-11, 2026, in Detroitwhere industry leaders will gather to explore emerging technologies.

What does it take to qualify?

Eligibility is open to small and medium-sized companies with revenues of less than $500 million and assets established on or after July 1, 2024, and serving at least one customer.
