OpenAI hires Tata for 100MW AI data center capacity in India, eyeing 1GW

OpenAI has partnered with India’s Tata Group to secure 100 megawatts of AI-enabled infrastructure in the country, with plans to scale to one gigawatt. The move is part of a deeper push to deepen the company’s business and infrastructure in the fast-growing market.
