The moment the crew docks at the International Space Station

Four astronauts have docked at the International Space Station (ISS) after launching from Earth on Friday.

The crew will spend eight months on the International Space Station after taking over from a team that was evacuated last month due to a medical emergency.

On board the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft heading to the International Space Station are two NASA astronauts from the United States, Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Ardenault from France, and Russian space agency cosmonaut Andrei Fedyaev.

The four aircraft are called Crew-12 because they make up SpaceX’s 12th crewed rotation to the International Space Station.
