Anthropic’s Super Bowl ad mocking AI and commercials helped push Claude’s app into the top 10.


Anthropic history Super Bowl commercials – which shows the magical experience of people seeking advice from chatbots, only to be led to “cougar” chat rooms with enlarged insoles – has been paying off. In the days since, Anthropic’s AI chatbot Claude has climbed from No. 41 on the US App Store to become a top 10 app. As of Friday, Claude is sitting at No. 7 – its highest position to date – meaning that “no commercials” are very compatible with users.

According to the latest data from the market intelligence provider ArtClaude’s downloads in the US across iOS and Android totaled nearly 148,000 from Sunday to Tuesday – the latest available. That’s a 32% increase from three days ago, Thursday through Saturday, when downloads totaled nearly 112,000.

Claude’s daily downloads from Sunday to Tuesday were 49,200, up 32% from Sunday to Tuesday’s average of 37,400 per day.

These numbers show that Anthropic’s Super Bowl sales, combined with Anthropic’s latest the release of its new version Opus 4.6worked to ensure that Claude’s program is completely different from ChatGPT. The final ones released ads to free users this week, as Anthropic sales warned.

As a result, Claude’s app is getting more attention than it did when it first launched on mobile.
