Amazon’s new Eero Signal keeps you connected to the Internet while parked

Customers plug the new eero Signal into any USB-C compatible device with Wi-Fi 6 or higher. Eero Signal will automatically switch to cellular when it’s out, then go back to Standby mode when it’s restored.

It’s perfect for home workers, those who need protection to stay online, or those in places that don’t usually stop.

Because mobile networks are only used frequently, subscriptions cost less than most 4G LTE plans. At launch, users can choose between a $99.99 annual eero Plus subscription with 10 GB of backup data or a $199.99 eero Plus 100 plan with 100 GB of data. Both offer discounted prices when you first purchase the device. Eero says the device supports several major carriers, including AT&T and Verizon, and connects to the best network at the time using a multi-carrier eSIM.

Later this year, the company will also launch a 5G version of eero Signal for $199.99, and support for this device will come to those on Business eero plans, as well.
