So, what’s going on with Musicboard?


Music boxapp for finding music and ideas, has been struggling, according to its own users. In the past few months, users said the program knowledgeable end, the website is gone without internetis an Android app missing from the Play Store.

Some users have created an unofficial “Help Save Musicboard” channel to provide more information about the issue. The group is led by a Musicboard user known as Lavarina and run by volunteers.

TechCrunch contacted Musicboard to help these users find answers and were given a brief quote. However, the statement did not elaborate on the long-term problems and said the termination was a “temporary break.”

The statement, which was shared from the Musicboard team’s email address and signed as “Musicboard,” said:

“The app has not been shut down. The servers had a temporary downtime, which has now been quickly fixed. And we are working closely with the Google Play team to restore the app. The app cannot be shut down without a reasonable timeline for users and communication with the government. The app is still live.”
