Christine Sutherland recalls feeling a “sense of honor” as part of a TV series that later “reverberated internationally”.
The story is personal to her: “I lost my boyfriend when I was 16,” she says. “I remember those feelings clearly because I had no concept of death. As a young man, it was a very important thing.”
Since then, she’s seen how shows like “The Body” can help with grief, especially at a young age. “I’ve had all these young people come to me over the years and say, ‘I lost my mother, I lost my father, and this episode helped me process that and understand that,'” Sutherland shared.
