“There’s always hope!” Walsh, 58, told Variety . “Look, what she’s doing is so completely different and everything changes so much. I think it’s going to be really interesting to actually see that happen or see what the consequences of it are.”

“I really loved (the breakup storyline). I was like, ‘She should be in danger,'” Walsh added. “My thing is, I love that she does all these things and comes back. There’s this desperation, but how does that really manifest in her life? How does that manifest at work? What does the clinic look like? Is Oceanside still there? What’s going on?”
She continued: “(I wanted to) understand a little bit and really see the ramifications of the choices she made and the sacrifices she made. I think a lot of people can relate to that.”
