18-year-old woman shot to death outside Havana shop, arrested

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in a shooting outside a convenience store in Little Havana that left a bystander dead.

According to the police report, “After the shooting, the suspect rode an electric bicycle and fled westward along Southwest 3rd Street toward Southwest 19th Avenue.” “The two intended targets also rode bicycles north on Southwest 3rd Street and fled from Southwest 18th Avenue.”

Gonzalez was rushed to the hospital, but died from his gunshot wounds.

Authorities said Gonzalez was not the intended target of the shooting.
