TMZ Sports Thursday, Jan. 29 reported that an arrest warrant was issued for Davis on Jan. 8 on charges of assault and battery. The former NFL star’s court date is reportedly set for February.

The complaint stems from an incident on May 31 when the woman claimed she and Davis had a disagreement in Davis’ room about her pregnancy.
In the complaint, the woman claims Davis “hit me with magazines and books under the TV,” and further claims the former tight end offered her $10,000.
She also claimed that Davis stopped attacking her when she took out her phone to record the alleged incident.
The woman also accused Davis of punching her in the face following a separate incident. She claimed another argument broke out between her and Davis after she accused him of lying to her. She reportedly claimed he slapped her in the face while she was sitting on the couch, adding that he allegedly told her “not to question him.”
She claims she recorded a conversation between her and Davis later that night in which Davis said: “If I did slap you, your face would turn blue/black.”
The woman also claimed another argument left her with visible bruises.
Davis won Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos in 2015, but spent most of his career with the San Francisco 49ers. After being selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, he spent 14 years in the NFL (with the 49ers, Broncos and Washington Commanders), totaling 583 career catches for 7,562 yards.
