Months before the loss, Sims reported to US Weekly Specifically about parenthood.
“For a lot of women, motherhood is their calling and their ultimate goal. I totally respect that. But it’s one of my goals as well,” she said in July 2025. “When Brooks and I discussed having kids, I always thought, ‘I still have to work. I still have to live a life.'” I think that’s daunting for a lot of women who can’t even imagine it. “

Koepka has been a member of LIV Golf since June 2022.
“Brooks’ family has always guided Brooks’ decision and he feels now is the right time to spend more time at home,” Koepka’s management team said in a statement in December 2025. “Brooks will continue to be a strong supporter of LIV Golf and wishes the league and its players continued success. Brooks remains passionate about the game of golf and will keep fans updated on future developments.”
