UFC fighter Cam Smotherman breaks silence after horrific moment collapses

The MMA fighter admitted, “I’m not entirely sure what happened and I’m going to have more tests and stuff over the next few weeks to find out. For all the people saying I must have done crazy (weight) cuts or something, I lost very, very little weight.”

Smotherman predicted he “hopes to be back soon” because he feels “totally fine.” He then apologized to his intended opponent, Ricky Tusiosdue to the cancellation of their fight at UFC 324.

The UFC has not yet clarified whether Smotherman’s fight with Turcios will be rescheduled for a later date.
