Duff, 38, got a sneak peek of her new single “Roommates” via social media Friday, January 9th.

Duff wrote “Mature” and much of the album with her husband, Matthew Butt.

“‘Maturing’ was a conversation with my younger self about being happy with where I was,” she recalled to the outlet. “Part of it was an idea that Matt came up with, and part of it came from thinking about not being able to recognize a younger version of myself in my 30s. Obviously, Matt knew all the stories from my past, and he was really good at coming up with a concept that I could come in and design the entire interior.”
