Larry Page is starting to move some business assets away from California, as planners work to get the billions in taxes added to the 2026 ballot. according to Business Insider.
The Google co-founder has also begun consolidating several of his businesses in Delaware, including his family office, Koop; his flu research company, Flu Lab; his pilot company, Dynatomics; and driving his own flying car, the One Aero.
Page himself says he is no longer in government, a source told Business Insider.
The story comes after the billionaire he is said to have told others he is looking to leave the state in the midst of the proposed tax, which would result in a 5% tax on those with assets of up to $1 billion. Other names who has spoken against which was voted by David Sacks, Palmer Luckey, and Alexis Ohanian.
