Four men rescued from boat teetering on dam edge

Video shows four men being pulled to safety after hanging for hours on the edge of a 40m (130ft) high dam in South Africa.

Rescuers from the National Marine Rescue Institute (NRSI) arrived at Groote Derai Dam in Mpumalanga on Monday after reports that a boat suffered engine failure before drifting to the edge of the dam.

NRSI praised the quick-thinking staff who opened gates on the spillway and prevented the vessel from being swept away by the strong currents. The men were reportedly not injured.
