In an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, December 31, Joy, 27, revealed that she Experiencing 3 miscarriages in 2025.
“This year has been filled with heartbreak but I’ve never felt more loved❤️🩹❤️ 2025 is about growth and that’s all I can ask for. Here’s to 2026 with my people,” she wrote in the caption.
Joy shared a photo of her hand from her April slide show, wearing a bypass gold ring with two small pear-shaped green stones.
The certified surgical technologist noted that she had “aborted 2 babies and had this ring made,” adding, “Little did I know we would lose 1 more baby before the end of the year.” (The couple, who have a 20-month-old daughter, River Rose, talked about the miscarriages they experienced in January, March and August.)

“It took me some time to come to terms with what happened, to be given the opportunity again so easily and so quickly. But in the end I Found a lot of happiness. We finally reach a point of complete and utter gratitude. I had another miscarriage last week,” she continued.

Despite the challenges they faced, Veer and Joy found strength in each other and shared many meaningful and joyful moments this year.
Joy included a sweet photo of their daughter celebrating her first birthday in February, surrounded by gifts and balloons, and shared a special memory from when the couple purchased their new home in March. In May, she and River Rose enjoyed a “girls farm trip,” just a month after Joy and Viall hosted the Netflix show and brought their family to Canada.
Joy also reflects on celebrating her own birthday in August and Viall’s in September, setting up a new studio and office for Envy Media next month, and launching her long-awaited merchandise in November – all before enjoying a “Winter Wonderland Magical Month by the Lake” to close out 2025.
Viall expressed his love in the comments section, writing, “No matter what happens, we have each other ❤️.”
