The North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad) has kicked off its 70-year tradition of tracking Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, joined by US President Donald Trump.
Trump and First Lady Melania Trump fielded calls from multiple children together.
Each year, Norad tracks Santa around the globe, and volunteers help answer calls and provide children with updates on Santa’s location.
The tradition began in 1955, when a printing error in a department store caused a child to call the Colorado Military Command Center to inquire about Santa’s location.
