US Weekly Court documents obtained Wednesday, March 11, show that the couple filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy on December 26, 2025. (Chapter 13 bankruptcy, also known as a “working class plan,” allows filers to pay off all or part of their debts over three to five years with a court-approved financial plan. This process gives debtors some legal protection against foreclosure and other penalties, while also preventing creditors from contacting them.)
Margaret and Rosenbrook listed assets and liabilities ranging from $100,000 to $500,000, while saying they owed $351,680. The couple said they own a total of $346,796.80 in property, have a gross monthly income of $7,210.01, and have monthly expenses of $5,261. (Margaret and Rosenbrook listed $850 per month in food expenses and $125 in tobacco expenses.)
Their personal property included $3,150 in household goods, $1,080 in electronics, $500 in clothing, $1,500 in jewelry and $3,125 worth of firearms and weapon accessories, such as four handguns, a shotgun, three rifles, ammunition and a gun cabinet.

According to court documents, Margaretha and Rosenbrook own cars worth $85,594, including a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban worth $8,200, a 2018 Audi A6 worth $18,500 and a Corvette Stingray worth $58,894. As of the date of the bankruptcy filing, Rosenbrook and Margaretha reported having $1,547.80 in their checking account.
Earlier this year, the couple agreed to pay a court trustee $1,949 per month for 60 months, for a total of $116,940, or risk having the payment plan dismissed. Documents filed on February 13 show that Rosenbrook and Margaretha have not made all scheduled payments due up to that time.
Their lawyers said the missed payments were due to Eric’s employment being terminated shortly after the case was filed, although he was expected to return to work soon after receiving a conditional offer. Rosenbrook previously said in court documents in December 2025 that he worked as an electrician for two and a half months while Margaret worked for a call center from home.
